Once you have witnessed the spectacular natural beauty of the Great Southern, it comes as no surprise that this little slice of heaven is such a popular destination for honeymooners and bachelor/bridal parties alike! It is these relaxed, weekend escapes that inspired this recent collab shoot from the talented girls at In the Wilds of Someplace, along with a collection of incredible local vendors at the stunning Parry Beach Breaks. Situated within William Bay National Park on our magnificent coastline, with breath-taking views of Greens Pool and just 20 minutes from Denmark, the shoot aimed to capture the laid-back luxury that we have right on our back doorstep.
Whether it be a romantic couples getaway, boys surfing trip or bridal party pamper weekend, the stylish self-contained villas at Parry Beach Breaks provide the ultimate setting for fun and relaxation. With Parry’s delivering the stunning backdrop, the collab was shot and styled by Ashleigh and Holii (blonde, short hair) from In the Wilds of Someplace with models for the shoot including Rebecca McDonald (black shirt) who often models for the girls, along with Naomi Byrne (blue skirt) from Naomi B Designs, who creates the most incredible wedding and event stationery. Baby Otis was joined by his parents Katelin O’Meara (grey jumper) and her husband Ryan (long dark hair), owner of Express Winemakers and featured in our previous real wedding post http://greatsouthernweddings.com.au/real-wedding/katelin-ryan.
The delectable fermented food range for the day was provided by Denmark based business, Spoonful of Goodness. Their tasty kruat, kimchi, cortido, dips and flaxseed crackers can be ordered online through Local Harvest, who also deliver fresh fruit and vegetables locally on Fridays. The macarons were supplied courtesy of Entice Food Co. who also creates beautiful wedding cakes and other tasty treats. A range of cool climate wines were poured on the evening with the girls enjoying a glass of Lonely Shore Pinot Noir made by Holly’s husband Liam (black shirt).
They were also treated to Porongurup Riesling by Lowboi Wines and Franklandia – by Express Winemakers. If their exquisite surrounds captured in the shoot weren’t enough, Parry’s Beach Breaks are also excited to be expanding in 2018, and are in the process of building two new villas to be completed by Christmas. The accommodation is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year with exclusive wedding packages available that can accommodate up to 28 guests. For couples looking to book out the entire property, pre/post wedding celebrations on the grounds can be organised with catering by an executive chef. Parry’s also has your wedding transportation covered and arrangements can be made with Dave from Denmark Wine Lovers Tours to ensure everyone makes it from A to B!
