Set on the eastern end of the ancient and stunning Porongurup Range 40km North of Albany in the Great Southern Wine Growing Region of Western Australia. Zarephath Wines is a small family run vineyard incorporating a grass roots approach and adopting organic principals where possible.
Originally established in 1995 by a Monastic Community, Zarephath’s fertile soils, easterly aspect and cool summer breezes contribute to the production of Zarephath’s premium low yield Award Winning Wines. Wines produced include Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. All Zarephath Wines are made by local Porongurup Winemaker Rob Diletti at Castle Rock Estate.
Zarephath Cafe, situated along side the winery tasting room, boasts beautiful long distance views to Mt Many Peaks from the terrace across the gardens to the vineyards. Rosie utilises local produce where possible including Porongurup Pure sheep cheeses, local olives & avocados, fruit and vegies from her garden and dorper lamb. The Menu & cafe is designed to encourage visitors to spend time and relax for the afternoon over vineyard platters and home made pate, dukkha and freshly made cakes.
Zarephath Wines is available for private functions with bookings for up to 30 people, providing a beautiful, rustic setting amongst the vines.
